Ludington North Pierhead Light

The Ludington North Pierhead Light is a steel pyramidal structure designed to withstand mighty storm waves crashing against it. Originally, it had a Fresnel lens built in France, but has since been replaced by a modern beacon. The Fresnel lens is currently on display at the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum. The light is maintained by the Sable Points Lighthouse Keepers Association.
