Manistee North Pier Light

The 39 foot tall Manistee North Pier Light was built in 1927. It replaced a wooden structure containing a light and a fog signal. The original wooden catwalk was replaced by a metal catwalk, one of only five on the eastern side of Lake Michigan. The lighthouse is now maintained by the Manistee County Historical Museum.
