New Presque Isle Lighthouse

Built in 1871 to replace what is now called the Old Presque Isle Lighthouse, the New Presque Isle Lighthouse has the tallest tower in Michigan at 109 feet tall. The lighthouse and keepers house are now maintained by Presque Isle Township. The keepers house has been turned into a museum. Visitors can climb the lighthouse tour for a small fee. The surrounding grounds include a playground area and a nature trail.
