St. Joseph Lighthouse

The first lighthouse built in St. Joseph , Michigan was completed in 1832. The present set of lights was completed in 1907. Ownership of the lighthouse was transferred to the City of St. Joseph in 2013. Renovations on the lights were done in 2016. The outer light is in a steel tower 30 feet tall. The inner light sits atop a two story 24-foot square steel structure. A foghorn was installed inside this structure in 1933.
